The Last Of Us Part 1 PC Fixes Are Being Prioritised Over Steam Deck Compatibility, Says Naughty Dog

The Last of Us Part 1 for PC launched in pretty rough shape earlier this month, and Naughty Dog has now said that it’s prioritising fixes for the game ahead of optimising its compatibility with Steam Deck.

The Sony-owned developer revealed in new Twitter thread that The Last of Us Part 1 PC fixes are its main focus going forward, which isn’t surprising given the poor shape the port is currently in.

A reminder that we will have a new hotfix live for The Last of Us Part I on PC tomorrow [Tuesday], and a patch on Friday.

We will share patch notes when the hotfix is live, and let you know some of what to expect in Friday’s patch ahead of its launch. And while we know many of you would like to play The Last of Us Part I on Steam Deck, we are prioritising fixes and patches before submitting it for verification.
