There can be few better ways to use your gaming powers for good than to do so for charity, and so it’s quite convenient that the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity) is letting you do just that!
Whether it’s a series of mammoth PUBG sessions, a hardcore run through Bloodborne or even a run of bounty hunting events on the newly released (and really rather brilliant) Hunt: Showdown, there’s no restriction on what you can play and even better still – these folks will set you up with everything you need to get started to receive donations and help those unfortunate little folk that have fallen on bad times.

Geek Out For GOSH and raise money for seriously ill children this March!
This spring, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity) is encouraging the gaming community to come together to raise money to help the lives of seriously ill children from across the UK.
From the 30 March to 5 April, GOSH Charity is calling upon gamers across the country to host their own charity livestream and ask their followers to dig deep and donate to support the patients at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and their families.
GOSH is working with Tiltify, an interactive fundraising platform, to provide powerful tools to help gamers collect as many donations as possible through their livestreams. Gamers can choose how long they want to stream for, what games they want to play, and which platform they wish to stream on.
Whether they want to try ‘speedrunning’ a level of their favorite game, hosting a tournament with a bunch of their friends or taking the plunge into the latest ultra-hard platformer, each charity livestream is entirely up to the gamer.
Gamers can get involved by heading over to the GOSH Tiltify page to set up their fundraising livestream. Tiltify also allows gamers to set up polls and challenges that their viewers can donate towards. If gamers aren’t able to stream themselves but still want to get involved, there will be a list of streamers on the GOSH Tiltify page that they can tune into, support and donate to.
There’s also a dedicated Geek Out For GOSH Discord server, where gamers can gather to get advice on using Tiltify, share fundraising and livestreaming tips, chat about the latest games or find new streamers to follow.
GOSH Charity will also be hosting their very own livestream on the 3-4 April, direct from their head office in central London, powered by live-streaming experts Groovy Gecko.
Content creators, streamers and big-name celebrities will be taking part over the two days to play the biggest, most entertaining and exciting games out there, with fun challenges and incredible giveaways along the way for viewers to get involved with.
