AEW Fight Forever Is Reportedly Going To Be A Single Release With New Additions Over Time

Fightful’s wrestling reporter Sean Ross Sapp has revealed on Twitter that the site has been told AEW Fight Forever will be a single released with new additions made over time.

This presumably means that the game will be updated with new DLC based on what’s happening in the AEW world, rather than any new games being released each year. In other words, there won’t be any FIFA-style annual releases for AEW, as any future content is simply evolving the base version of the game.

That’s about all we know so far, although hopefully we’ll get some clarification from developer Yuke’s at some point soon, as the game is due out in early 2023.

In related news, it has been claimed that CM Punk has not been removed from the game’s roster following a number of real-life controversy surrounding the wrestler.

AEW Fight Forever is slated for release in February 2023 for PS4, PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
